Easy to use at home therapy

The device arrived neatly packaged, with everything needed to start using it right away. I like that the cord is long enough to plug directly into the wall instead of having to use an extension cord. Also appreciate how the buttons are intuitive and easy to feel for, so I can operate the device by myself with the goggles already covering my eyes. The fan is also pretty quiet, hardly noticeable. The large panel means I don't have to worry too much about whether my entire face is covered by the light. Overall, pretty happy with this device so far.

Red light therapy is incredible

The Photon Mars is excellent, sturdy and well designed, and red light therapy is incredible!I had quite a lot of tendon pain and stiffness in my right hip, thigh and knee which really troubled me for several months due to having fractured my little toe on my left foot and consequently having to hobble around on a special high clog on my left foot (while the toe healed), thereby putting most of my body weight on my right side. After using the device almost daily for two weeks now (20 mins at 6 inches away) the pain in my right side has disappeared, with only some slight residual stiffness. It's amazing!Will continue to use it until the stiffness has been fully eliminated, then direct the red light to other stiff or painful joints or tendons, eg due to old sports injuries. After having shone it on a particular body part, it's recommended to gently massage and stretch it to help it gradually regain its former flexibility. To combat stiff tendons, you also need to do daily stretching and regular exercise.Red light therapy is astonishingly effective; before I discovered it I went weekly to a physiotherapist for a few months and his treatment, while effective, only lasted a day or two at most before the pain returned. By contrast the pain hasn't returned and after only two weeks I'm now able to walk in a balanced way in this sides, as before.I've recommended the device to friends who have painful / inflamed tendons or other bodily pain.
